How Does The Nuvis Reverse Osmosis System Work?

Water affects every aspect of your home life starting with the raw water entering your home through your appliances, to your drinking water, down to the water you shower in and use for cooking. Hard water can shorten the life of plumbing and appliances, along with the life of your clothes and linens. Hard water can leave your dishes dirty, your drinking water tasting and smelling bad, your hair limp, and your skin dry.

Not such a pretty picture! The Nuvis Reverse Osmosis System helps with every aspect of these common hard water problems.

Here is how the Nuvis Reverse Osmosis System works:

  • Stage 1: Sediment & Activated Carbon Block Module – Protects the automatic shut-off from clogging with microscopic debris, and where the chlorine is removed to protect the refined composite membrane.

  • Stage 2: Reverse Osmosis Chamber – This is the heart of the system. Particles too small to be trapped by the prefilters are removed by the composite membrane, further reducing contaminants.

  • Stage 3: Granular Activated Carbon – Extended contact granular activated carbon further enhances your water’s taste and color.

  • Stage 4: Inline Polishing Filter – The final stage of filtration. The inline polishing filter removes any remaining tastes and odors before the water reaches its final destination; your drinking glass.
