Refreshing and Healthy Mint Infused Water
If you are like me, you have an over-abundance of mint taking over your garden as you read and sometimes recipes don't accommodate the excessive growth taking place, so we decided to share our easy recipe on making mint-infused filtered water.
Flavored filtered-water can be a healthy and fun addition to add to your daily intake. Since some folks can't stand the taste of "plain water" so we want to encourage you to find the perfect flavor combo that will keep you coming back to refill your water jug and get your recommended 64 oz every day.
Here’s how to make your Mint-Infused Filtered Water:
Place 1/4 cup mint leaves in 1 cup boiling filtered water and allow it to steep for 15-20 minutes.
Stir in 2 ice cubes and allow the water to come to lukewarm.
Pour the water in a pitcher and add 7 cups of cold filtered water.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Garnish with a few mint leaves.
